These settings have been optimised for supplying PDF files via the world wide web.

Installation:
Decompress the "GPP_PDF_ExportSettings.sit" file.
In the folder you will see a PDF Preset file for each application listed.
Follow the loading instructions for each application you require.

QuarkXPress v6

PDF files for print production should still be saved as postscript files and distilled through Adobe Acrobat Distiller or similar software, we have encountered problems with PDF files saved directly out of QuarkXpress v6.

Adobe InDesign

PDF files from InDesign should be exported using our PDF settings directly out of InDesign and not distilled with Acrobat Distiller, this is to stop the PDF file from flattening when transparency features are used.

InDesign v3

Select "File" Menu and "PDF Export Presets" and the Sub Menu "Define".
Select the "Load" button and the destination to the file "GPP_InDesignCS_v3_PDFStyle.pdfs".
This will load the settings required when Exporting High Quality PDF files.

InDesign v2

Select "File" Menu and "PDF Styles".
Select the "Load" button and the destination to the file "GPP_InDesign_v2_PDFStyle.pdfs".
This will load the settings required when Exporting High Quality PDF files.

Adobe Acrobat Distiller

Acrobat Distiller v6

Select "Settings" Menu and "Add Adobe PDF Settings".
Select the destination to the file "GraphicPreprint_v6.0.joboptions".
In the Distiller Window under the pull down menu "Default Settings" you should see "GraphicPreprint_v6.0".
Use this setting when distilling PDF files to send to us for processing.

Acrobat Distiller v4

Place the file "GraphicPreprint_v4.0.joboptions" in the "settings" folder of your "Distiller" applications folder.
In the Distiller Window under the pull down menu "Job Options" you should see "GraphicPreprint_v4.0".
Use this setting when distilling PDF files to send to us for processing.
